Til Chikki is Inspired by the amaranth chikkis in pune, which is made with bit of crunchy peanuts too. Its a pretty healthy chikki made with gur and is sold on the shops very commonly. We also tried to make a similar looking one with the same shape and crunch to celebrate our traditional food which had its own wisdom. Besides til sweets or gajaks are had in winter and gives you a warm feeling.
Our jaggery in the chikki is kept a bit soft so its easy to bite into it and at the same time enjoy the crispiness of the til and crunchiness of the peanuts.
