About Packaging

Bio Degradable and Upcycled Packaging.

We use eco friendly packaging as we care for you and our other fellow being on the planet too.The way you do anything that’s the way you do everything, thus we are also conscious about how or what kind of packaging we are offering and have done ample research on it. We want to avoid plastics and yet at the same time try to deliver our products as they take a certain message about food and wellness. Some times its not easy to integrate the different needs but since we believe in creating regenerative and sustainable business we take efforts to resolve such challenges. It does take time and effort but at the same time its adds value to our lives and make the planet a better place to live. .

Arica nuts plates at Street cafe !

We are also using arica nut plates for serving food at the farmers market and our street food stall at Jawahar Circle in Jaipur. Our spoons and forks are wooden.Idlis served at Jawahar Circle in Jaipur at Jawahar Circle at our street cafe!

Teracotta cups by jagdish ji

We also designed terracotta cups, with a cap for our chutneys and other stuff, or even making cakes, these small pots have been designed by our dear friend and potter Jagdish Ji.

He belongs to a family of potters and manages to do pottery in the middle of the city while struggling to get all the raw materials by purchasing them, some thing that he was accessing for generations in the area nearby but because of the construction around his house it is no longer accessible to him. He could be the last in his generation to do this trade as children no longer feel invited to take this profession. We believe in relationships and are glad to have a friendship with him and he is always willing to make stuff for us.

Boxes for Diwali Sweets

Lately we discovered Kagzi industries which have more than three generations working on hand made paper. They are a heritage industry of Jaipur whose ancestors were invited by Raja Jai Singh to make the official papers of the Jaipur Durbar, the family has continued this work and grown this trade.  And it’s, it’s biodegradable and eco friendly. And now when we are making the Diwali Mithais this time, our dabbas are made of upcycled hand made paper which is made from scrap cloth cuttings.

We have had some fun conversations with them and are now having a strong bond of shared reality and appreciate their support and cooperation in creating special stuff for us.

If you request any thing from us, you can be assured that the packaging has been designed consciously to keep the planet a better place for our future generations and many other beings on our mother earth.

Our packaging is bio degradable
